Weed free under decked areas

Prepare the area where Terram Weed Guard is intended to be used. Remove any stones, weeds and roots, in some circumstances a weed killer may be needed. Smooth over and level the intended planting area with a rake.
Roll out the Terram Weed Guard ensuring the area covered is greater than the area planned for the deck. For large decked areas ensure there is an overlap of approximately 500mm (20"). Pin down and secure all overlapped edges.

Carefully construct the frame, joists and beams of the decked area as instructed.

Prior to laying and fixing the deck timbers, cover the Terram Weed Guard with an even layer of aggregate (ie gravel, chippings) and rake flat to a thickness of approximately 50mm (2"). This will discourage vermin especially if the decked area is intended for alfresco dining.

Lay and fix the deck timbers as instructed.
Trim any excess Terram Weed Guard from the perimeter of the decked area with a sharp knife or scissors.
