Weed free borders & flower beds

Prepare the area where Terram WeedGuard is intended to be used, by remove any stones, weeds and roots, in some circumstances a weed killer may be needed. Smooth over and level the intended planting area with a rake.

Roll out the Terram WeedGuard within the planting area. For larger planting areas where it is necessary to overlap Terram WeedGuard, ensure there is an overlap of approximately 100mm (4"). The use of plastic pins, available from our on-line shop, is recommended to ensure all the edges and any overlaps are secured.

Cut the Terram WeedGuard to the shape of the border, and around existing trees shrubs and flowers with a sharp knife or scissors. For new plants cut a cross and pin back the Terram WeedGuard where you intend placing the plant. Dig out the soil below the cut large enough to accept the root ball of the plant you are placing. Prepare the ground as instructed and place the plant into the ground. Now return the Terram WeedGuard as close to the base of the plant as is possible.

Finally generously cover the Terram WeedGuard with a bark mulch or gravel as you desire.
