Preventing erosion of slopes

Prepare the area where Terram GravelSure is intended to be used. Remove any stones, weeds and roots, in some circumstances a weed killer may be needed. Smooth over and level the area.

Prior to installing Terram GravelSure, it is suggested to first cover the area with Terram GroundSure. This will prevent the growth of weeds and aid ground stabilisation.
For applications with specific functional requirements alternative Terram geosynthetic may be specified. For guidance on your specific project requirements please contact the Terram Technical Department.

To install Terram GravelSure, secure one side with pins. Spread out the Terram GravelSure ensuring all the individual cells are open and uniform in their shape. Pin around the edge to retain the shape.

Fill each cell to the top with soil (which can then be turfed or seeded) or with crushed or regular shaped aggregate until the whole area of Terram GravelSure in covered.
