Contain root growth

Establish how large you wish the rootball grow and dig the hole suitable for this and prepare as normal.
Line the bottom of the hole with Terram Root Guard. Next, line the wall of the hole with Terram Root Guard+ ensuring that there is a sufficient overlap. For extra security the overlap can be secured using
a strong waterproof adhesive tape.

Trim the Terram Root Guard+ such that it extends above the surrounding groundlevel by approximately 50mm (2")

Place the tree/shrub into the hole and backfill with topsoil so it is level with the surrounding groundlevel.

If required the area can be covered with Terram Weed Guard and a bark mulch or aggregate to prevent weeds.
